What is Camp BuddEConnect?
BuddEConnect is a virtual (Zoom-based) special needs summer camp created to address the void left by COVID-19. The pandemic has shut down in-person programs that many special needs communities depend upon. Every kid deserves to have a summer camp experience, regardless of world events or individual situation. BuddEConnect Summer camp offers kids with special needs the opportunity for social interaction, physical activity, personal connection, and fun, all while safely social distancing at home.

"It has allowed him to socialize and participate in activities that he hasn’t been able to for months, and it’s engaging because there are a variety of activities that are short and fun to keep their attention!" - Rachel B.
How does it work?
Campers apply to join camp, then we send out further information for them to fill out (a survey, waiver, etc.). Then we'll let you know when you're able to come to camp, or we'll put you on a waiting list. Before each week of camp, we will send a package home with snacks and supplies for the week! All campers with special needs are welcome, from age 4 to 24!
When you're at camp, the #1 rule is simple: FUN COMES FIRST!
Campers are split up into "Cabins" based on interests and go through a camp schedule that includes 20-minute activity blocks, a snack period, and some camp-wide activities.
